Smartphone Photography and Reels Workshop
with Sophie Hansen & Southern Wild Co

Join us for a hands-on inspiring, fun and practical workshop for creatives, small business owners, makers and artists who want to create beautiful images to tell the story of their products and brand.

Who’s it for?
Those who are new to styling and photography or are looking to improve their phone photography and instagram skills. If you're looking to build your confidence to get started, or you’re stuck in a creative rut and need help to take your images to the next level, then this is the workshop for you.

What you’ll learn
How to style, light, shoot, edit and share beautiful ’scroll-stopping’ photos and reels of your product, service, self and story – all with your smartphone. You will receive hands on tuition from two industry experts, who’ll show you how to style and shoot images using beautiful natural light, for your business.

The format
An intimate half-day workshop at Southern Wild Co’s stunning ‘Shedquarters’ near Rockley, NSW. The afternoon will start with a light lunch and overview followed by hands-on, practical demonstrations and tuition. We’ll be working in small groups of four to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to create beautiful images and reels for your own brand story. The afternoon will finish with a Q&A session, grazing platter and bubbles. Tickets are limited to a maximum of 16 participants so we can make sure everyone receives some one-on-one time.

Your teachers
Sophie Hansen of Local is Lovely is a cook and content creator and has just written and photographed four and a half (the next one is underway!) cookbooks. She also teaches Instagram workshops all over the countryside. She gets very excited when people get excited about taking photos and videos that share their story.

Tania Robinson of Southern Wild Co is a designer, scent-seeker and branding whizz with a passion for photography and styling. She loves to share stories about the wild Australian landscape, art and poetry through her scented wares and popular newsletter from her unique and inspiring converted shearing shed in the bush.
