Art teacher Annie Herron (Mum) and I are excited to invite you join us in Autumn or Spring next year, for a unique three day residential art workshop at Annie’s beautiful farm just over the Blue Mountains (2.5 hours west of Sydney).
You’ll spend three days learning to draw, paint and discover your creative style, with meals and morning teas along the way by me.
There are eight bedrooms, so our minimum number of participants is eight, but we can go up to 12 if you are coming with a friend and happy to share a room (more on this below). Some bedrooms share a bathroom between 2 rooms.
The art classes will be held in Annie’s converted woolshed studio and all materials are provided. All meals will be over at the house, or in the garden when the weather is nice to us.
The classes will cover an introduction to (or extension of - depending on your skill level) all mediums and various techniques. You will leave with a visual journal packed with ideas and inspiration and at least one major work to proudly hang on your wall back home. Total beginners welcome.
If you can get together a group of eight (maximum 12), you can book the whole place/workshop for yourselves. A great idea for a 50th or special gathering of friends!*
PROGRAM
Day 1 Arrive 4pm = Settle in, 1-hour introduction session in the studio, welcome drinks then dinner.
Day 2 and 3 - 9am-4pm = art classes in the studio with Annie
Day 4 - 9am-3pm = art classes in the studio with Annie, pack up and farewells!
COST
Payment here is for the non-refundable $750 deposit. The full cost per person is $2200 which includes the below.
- 3 x nights accom*
- 3 x full days art classes with Annie Herron with all art materials provided and all meals provided (breakfast, morning tea, lunch and dinner) catered by Sophie Hansen.
- 1 hour smartphone photography workshop with Sophie Hansen on day 1.
- BYO alcohol.
*If you are happy to share a room with someone you’re coming with, the cost is reduced to $2000pp.
PAYMENT AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering and paying this deposit, you agree to the below conditions. Please read carefully.
- The full cost of this course is $2200 and clicking through the below is payment for the non-refundable $750 deposit only.
- You will be sent an invoice for the balance of $1450 three months prior to the workshop's start date. If this invoice is not paid within seven days of the invoice's due date, your spot will be opened up again and you will lose your deposit.
- There is a minimum of 8 participants for this workshop. We reserve the right to cancel if we don’t have enough bookings. In which case your money will be refunded.
- DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE and we do not offer credits for future classes. If you are unable to come, you are welcome to on-sell your spot and we will help with this if we can (no guarantees).
- In case of host sickness or emergency, we reserve the right to change the date of this class and will offer a full refund if you are unable to make that date.
